To connect your smartphone to the Singing Machine SM398PP Karaoke System, you can use the Bluetooth connectivity feature. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Turn on the karaoke system by pressing the Power ON/OFF button. The Power Indicator will light up.
2. After switching on the unit, the Bluetooth indicator will blink rapidly to indicate it is in the Pairing mode. If it doesn't, you can also press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE/PAIR button to initiate the Pairing mode.
3. Switch on the Bluetooth function on your smartphone within three feet of the karaoke system. You should see "Singing Machine" appear on your device's search list.
4. Select "Singing Machine" on your smartphone to start the pairing process. Wait for the completion of the pairing, and the Bluetooth indicator on the karaoke system will light solid.
5. Once the pairing is successful, you can start playing music on your smartphone, and it will be wirelessly streamed to the karaoke system. The lyrics will be displayed on the karaoke system's built-in display screen, and you can sing along.
