To connect the Gefen GTV-DIGAUD-2-AAUD Digital Audio to Analog Adapter, follow these steps:
1. Determine the type of digital audio output on your source device (optical or coaxial).
2. Connect an optical or coaxial cable from the corresponding digital audio output on your source device to the "Optical" or "In Coax" port on the adapter.
3. If using an optical cable, remove the clear plastic protective cover on both ends of the TOSLINK connectors before connecting.
4. Connect a set of L/R analog RCA-type audio cables from the "Out L" and "Out R" ports on the adapter to the corresponding inputs on your analog audio equipment.
5. Connect the included 5V DC power supply to the "DC 5V" power receptacle on the adapter, and plug the AC adapter into an available electrical outlet.
6. Power on all connected devices.
