To connect the Monoprice 15649 VGA splitter to your computer and displays, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your computer and monitors are turned off.
2. Locate the VGA output port on your computer. It is usually blue and has 15 pins.
3. Connect one end of a VGA cable to the VGA output port on your computer.
4. Connect the other end of the VGA cable to the VGA input port on the VGA splitter.
5. If your VGA splitter requires external power, connect the provided power supply or adapter to the splitter and plug it into a power outlet.
6. Connect VGA cables from the VGA output ports on the VGA splitter to the VGA input ports on your monitors.
7. If you want to transmit audio, connect an audio cable from the audio output port on your computer to the audio input port on the VGA splitter.
8. Connect audio cables from the audio output ports on the VGA splitter to your external speakers or audio system.
9. Double-check all connections to ensure they are secure.
10. Turn on your computer and monitors.
Your computer should now detect the connected displays, and you should see the same content on both monitors. If you want to extend your desktop across the two monitors, you may need to adjust the display settings on your computer.
