To connect the BBQ Dragon 435 Wireless Meat Thermometer to your smartphone, please follow these steps:
1. Download the free smartphone app: Start by downloading the free BBQ Dragon smartphone app from either the App Store (for iOS devices) or the Google Play Store (for Android devices). The app is compatible with newer model phones, including iPhone 4s, iPod Touch, iPad 3rd generations, and more recent models. It is also compatible with Android versions 4.3 and subsequent models of phones.
2. Enable Bluetooth: Make sure that the Bluetooth feature on your smartphone is turned on. You can usually find this option in the settings menu of your phone.
3. Pair the thermometer with your smartphone: Open the BBQ Dragon app on your smartphone and follow the on-screen instructions to pair the thermometer with your phone. This usually involves selecting the thermometer from a list of available devices in the app's settings.
4. Establish a connection: Once the pairing process is complete, the app should establish a connection with the thermometer. You should now be able to monitor the temperature readings on your smartphone in real-time.
Note: The wireless signal of the thermometer extends up to a distance of 300 feet, so make sure you are within range of the thermometer for a stable connection.
