Sure! Here are the step-by-step instructions for setting up the Thames & Kosmos 678004 Planetarium Projector:
1. Find a room that can be made very dark, as the projector requires a dark environment to work properly.
2. Peel off the thin protective film from the star map dome.
3. Push the star map dome into the attachment ring all the way.
4. Place the dome and ring onto the rotating platform, aligning the three clips on the ring with the three clips on the platform.
5. Turn the dome and ring clockwise to lock it in place at the three clips.
6. Insert the USB-C cable into the power socket in the back of the projector's base.
7. Plug the other end of the USB-C cable into a USB power adapter, which must be plugged into a power outlet either directly or via an extension cord.
8. Insert one of the four image disks into the image disk slot at the top of the image disk projector.
9. Turn on the projector following the operating instructions in the manual.
10. To focus the image projected from the image disk, turn the focus wheel around the lens of the image disk projector. To change the projected image, turn the image disk in the slot with your finger.
11. For crisper star map projections, bring the projector closer to a projection surface, such as a wall.
12. To change the star map, carefully twist the star map dome counterclockwise to unlock the attachment ring. Lift the dome and ring off the projector body. Remove the star map dome from the ring and place the ring around the new dome. Place the dome and ring back on the projector body and rotate it clockwise to lock the ring in place again.
13. If you want to hang the projector on a wall, you can nail a picture hook or nail into the wall and hang the projector from its hanging bracket on the underside.
