The Rockville CAR-EQ-Oke equalizer is typically connected between your car's head unit and amplifier using RCA cables. Here are the steps to connect it:
1. Locate the RCA outputs on your car's head unit. These are usually labeled as "Front," "Rear," or "Subwoofer."
2. Connect the RCA cables from the corresponding outputs on your car's head unit to the RCA inputs on the Rockville CAR-EQ-Oke equalizer. Make sure to match the colors (red for right channel, white for left channel).
3. If you have a subwoofer, connect the RCA cables from the subwoofer output on the equalizer to the RCA inputs on your subwoofer amplifier.
4. Connect the RCA outputs on the equalizer to the RCA inputs on your amplifier. Again, match the colors.
5. Finally, connect the power, remote, and ground wires of the equalizer to your car's electrical system following the instructions provided in the manual.
Once connected, you can adjust the equalizer settings to fine-tune the sound frequencies in your car's audio system.
