To use the Tripp Lite T050-001-USB-A USB-A Voltage & Current Tester, follow these steps:
1. Plug the USB-A end of the tester into the USB-A port you want to test. This can be a port on your computer, laptop, tablet, or any other device with a USB-A connector.
2. Connect the USB device or cable you want to test to the USB-A female connector on the tester. This could be a USB cable, charger, or any other USB-A device.
3. Once the tester is connected, an easy-to-read LCD screen will display the voltage and amperage in real time. The dual color LEDs on the tester will indicate whether voltage or current is being displayed on the screen.
4. You can switch between voltage and amperage information on the screen by pressing the appropriate button on the tester.
5. The tester is designed to be plug-and-play, so no software or drivers are required. It is also powered by the USB port it's plugged into, so no separate power source is needed.
