To switch between HDMI sources using the Monoprice 24740 Blackbird HDMI Switch, you can use either the front panel buttons, the included IR remote control, or RS232 computer control. Here is how you can switch between sources using each method:
1. Front Panel Buttons:
- Press the "MAIN" button on the front panel to select the video source.
- Use the "MODE" button to cycle through the five display modes.
- Press the "AUDIO" button to cycle the audio through the inputs or to turn it off.
2. IR Remote Control:
- Use the "Mode" button on the remote control to select the desired display mode.
- Press one of the numbered buttons (1-4) to switch to a specific HDMI input.
- Use the "Audio" button to select the audio source or mute audio.
- Press the "Power" button to turn the unit on or put it into standby mode.
3. RS232 Computer Control:
- Connect your computer to the RS-232 terminal block on the switch using a serial control cable.
- Use the appropriate software or commands to send control signals to the switch to switch between HDMI sources and control other functions.
