To connect the Monolith 143157 C5 Center Channel Speaker to your AV receiver or amplifier, follow these steps:
1. Locate the binding posts on the back of the speaker. These are the most common connections used for speakers.
2. Identify the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on the binding posts. They are usually color-coded, with red indicating the positive terminal and black indicating the negative terminal.
3. Strip the ends of your speaker wire to expose the bare wire strands. Make sure to remove any insulation or protective covering.
4. Insert the bare wire strands into the corresponding positive and negative terminals on the binding posts. Ensure that the wire is securely connected and there are no loose strands.
5. Tighten the binding posts by turning them clockwise. This will secure the speaker wire in place and ensure a solid connection.
6. Repeat the above steps for the other end of the speaker wire, connecting it to the appropriate terminals on your AV receiver or amplifier.
7. Double-check all connections to ensure they are secure and properly connected.
8. Once the connections are made, power on your AV receiver or amplifier and test the speaker to ensure it is functioning correctly.
