To charge the batteries for the Midland T71VP3 Long Range Walkie Talkie, follow these steps:
1. Before using the radios, make sure to fully charge the rechargeable battery packs.
2. Use the provided desktop charger or the AC wall adapter to charge the batteries.
3. Insert the rechargeable battery packs into the battery compartment of each radio.
4. Connect the desktop charger or the AC wall adapter to the charging port on the radio.
5. Plug the charger or adapter into a power source.
6. Allow the batteries to charge until they are fully charged. The charging time may vary, but it is recommended to charge them for several hours to ensure a full charge.
7. Once the batteries are fully charged, you can disconnect the charger or adapter from the power source and remove the batteries from the charger.
It's important to note that the Midland T71VP3 walkie-talkies also offer the flexibility to be powered by 3 "AAA" batteries, which are not included in the package. If you choose to use AAA batteries, simply insert them into the battery compartment following the polarity markings.
