To connect your devices to the Denon AVR-S660H Integrated Network AV Receiver, follow these steps:
1. Identify the HDMI ports: The receiver has multiple HDMI ports labeled as HDMI IN. These ports allow you to connect your devices.
2. Connect your devices: Use HDMI cables to connect your devices (TV, Blu-ray player, gaming console, etc.) to the HDMI IN ports on the receiver. Make sure to use high-speed HDMI cables for optimal performance.
3. Connect the receiver to your TV: Use another HDMI cable to connect the HDMI OUT port on the receiver to an HDMI input on your TV. This will allow the video and audio signals from your devices to pass through the receiver and be displayed on your TV.
4. Power on the devices: Turn on your TV, Blu-ray player, gaming console, and the Denon AVR-S660H receiver.
5. Select the input source: On your TV, select the HDMI input that is connected to the HDMI OUT port of the receiver. This will display the receiver's user interface on your TV screen.
6. Configure the input settings: Using the receiver's remote control or the on-screen display, navigate to the input settings menu. Select the HDMI input that corresponds to each connected device and assign a name to it (e.g., Blu-ray player, gaming console).
7. Test the setup: Play content on your connected devices and ensure that both the audio and video are being transmitted correctly through the receiver to your TV. You can also adjust the audio settings, such as selecting the desired surround sound mode or enabling audio enhancements like Dolby Atmos or DTS:X.
