To adjust the image size and alignment on the Sony VPL-HW45 Home Theater Projector, follow these steps:
1. Position the projector: Place the projector at the desired distance from the screen, ensuring that it is centered and level.
2. Adjust the zoom: Use the zoom ring on the lens to adjust the image size. Rotate it clockwise to increase the size and counterclockwise to decrease it. Find the optimal size that fits your screen.
3. Adjust the focus: Rotate the focus ring on the lens to sharpen the image. Adjust it until the text and details appear clear and crisp.
4. Adjust the vertical lens shift: If the image is not properly aligned vertically, use the vertical lens shift dial to adjust it. The dial is located on the top of the projector. Rotate it to move the image up or down until it is aligned with the screen.
5. Adjust the horizontal lens shift: If the image is not properly aligned horizontally, use the horizontal lens shift dial to adjust it. The dial is also located on the top of the projector. Rotate it to move the image left or right until it is aligned with the screen.
6. Test and fine-tune: After making adjustments, project an image onto the screen and check if it fits properly. If further adjustments are needed, repeat steps 2-5 until the image is aligned and sized correctly.
