To connect your Dell 3400MP DLP Portable Business Projector to your computer, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that both your computer and the projector are turned off.
2. Locate the VGA (D-Sub) port on the projector. It is usually labeled "Computer In" or "VGA In."
3. Connect one end of the VGA cable (included in the package) to the VGA (D-Sub) port on the projector.
4. Locate the VGA (D-Sub) port on your computer. It is usually located on the back or side of the computer and may be labeled "VGA Out" or "Monitor Out."
5. Connect the other end of the VGA cable to the VGA (D-Sub) port on your computer.
6. Once the VGA cable is securely connected, turn on your computer.
7. Turn on the projector and wait for it to warm up.
8. On your computer, go to the display settings. This can usually be accessed by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting "Display Settings" or "Screen Resolution."
9. In the display settings, select the option to extend or duplicate your display. This will depend on your preference and the specific requirements of your presentation.
10. Adjust the projector's focus and keystone correction if necessary to ensure a clear and properly aligned image.
11. Your computer screen should now be displayed through the Dell 3400MP projector.
