1. Before starting the installation, ensure that the power to the circuit is turned off at the breaker box to prevent any electrical accidents.
2. Identify the location where you want to install the fan. Make sure there is enough clearance and that the fan is mounted securely to a ceiling joist or support structure.
3. Attach the downrod mount to the ceiling using the included screws and secure it tightly.
