Installation of the Fanimation FPS7955 LED Ceiling Fan requires a few steps to ensure proper and secure mounting. Here are the detailed instructions:
1. Ensure that you have a securely anchored electrical junction box capable of withstanding a load of at least 50 lbs. The fan must be attached to this box.
2. Turn off the power to the circuit at the circuit breaker or fuse box before proceeding with the installation.
3. Attach the ceiling bracket to the electrical junction box using the provided screws. Make sure the bracket is securely fastened.
4. Connect the fan motor wires to the corresponding wires in the electrical junction box. Match the colors of the wires (black to black, white to white, and green or bare copper to the grounding wire).
5. Lift the fan motor assembly and align the holes in the ceiling bracket with the holes in the fan motor assembly. Insert the provided screws through the holes and tighten them to secure the fan motor assembly to the ceiling bracket.
6. Attach the blades to the fan motor assembly using the provided screws. Make sure the blades are securely fastened.
7. Install the included 18-watt LED light kit if desired. Follow the instructions provided with the light kit for installation.
8. Install the included TR500 handheld remote control holder if desired. Follow the instructions provided with the remote control holder for installation.
9. Turn on the power to the circuit at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
10. Test the fan and light functions using the TR500 handheld remote control.
