To connect your Geeni CW006 Wi-Fi Security Camera to your home Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:
1. Download the Geeni App: Start by downloading the Geeni app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Register an Account: Open the Geeni app and register an account using your mobile phone number or email address. Enter the verification code sent to you and create a password. Log into the app.
3. Charging: Before setting up the camera, make sure it is fully charged. Connect the camera to a standard USB power source or outlet using the provided charging cable. The charging indicator light will blink red while charging and turn blue when charging is complete.
4. Installation: Choose the installation method that suits your needs - either magnetic mount installation or xxxx mount installation. Follow the instructions provided in the manual to securely mount the camera to the desired location.
5. Add Device: Open the Geeni app and navigate to the Devices screen. Click on "Choose Wi-Fi Camera" in the top corner.
6. Easy Mode: If the camera's light is blinking red, indicating it is ready to connect, select "Easy Mode" and proceed to the next step.
7. Enter Wi-Fi Network: Enter your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password in the Geeni app. Make sure to select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, as Geeni cameras are not compatible with 5GHz networks.
8. Connect: The Geeni app will attempt to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network. This process may take a few moments. Once the camera's blinking light turns solid blue, it means the connection was successful.
