To set up the Abode 104061/A WiFi Connected Security Camera as a standalone device, follow these steps:
1. Download the Abode app from Google Play or the Apple App Store and create a new account.
2. Power up the camera using the included USB cable and AC wall adapter or a 5V USB port. Wait for up to 30 seconds for the device to warm up.
3. Open the Abode app and navigate to your devices list. Select "Add Device."
4. Choose the Abode Cam 2 from the list of available devices.
5. Follow the in-app prompts to add the camera to your account.
6. After successfully adding the camera to your account, you can power it down and install it in your desired location.
7. Once the camera is re-powered, you can access the video stream and recorded clips from the camera through the Abode app Dashboard.
Note: This setup process does not require an Abode gateway or iota. However, a smartphone with the Abode app installed is necessary for the initial setup.
