To connect the Fifine K669 XLR Dynamic Microphone to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Plug the free end of the provided USB cable into the USB port on your computer.
2. Your computer will automatically recognize the USB device and install a driver.
3. To select the K669 as your audio input, open your System Preferences (for Mac) or Sound settings (for Windows).
4. In the input tab, make sure "USB PnP Audio Device" is selected as the default input device.
5. Adjust the volume of the input by dragging the progress bar.
6. If you need to output your voice from the 3.5mm headphone jack of your computer (Macbook), choose the output from the "Internal Speaker" option and adjust the volume of the output.
Note: If you want to monitor your voice when using a Macbook, you must turn on any recording software first (e.g., Audacity), make sure to click "Software Playthrough (on)", then click the record button to begin. Otherwise, you will not hear any sound when you speak into the microphone.
For Windows computers, please wait for a few seconds when first-time operation, as the driver of the microphone takes time to automatically install. After installation, you can test the mic by speaking into it. If the mic picks up no sound, please refer to the manual for further troubleshooting steps or contact FIFINE for support.
