Loading slides into the Kodak Carousel 4600 Projector is a straightforward process. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Ensure that the projector is turned off and unplugged from the power source for safety.
2. Locate the slide tray on the top of the projector. The tray is typically a circular or rectangular shape and may have a handle for easy removal.
3. Hold the slide tray by the handle and lift it gently to remove it from the projector. Set it aside for now.
4. Take your stack of 35mm slides and ensure they are in the correct orientation. The slides should have the image facing forward and the matte side facing backward.
5. Align the slides in the stack so that they are all facing the same direction. This will ensure proper slide advancement during projection.
6. Insert the stack of slides into the slide tray. The tray may have slots or grooves to guide the slides into place. Make sure the slides are fully inserted and aligned with the tray.
7. Once the slides are loaded, carefully reinsert the slide tray back into the projector. Ensure that it is securely in place and aligned correctly.
8. Plug the projector back into the power source and turn it on. The slides should now be ready for projection.
