There are two options for connecting the ADC-V722W camera to your wireless network: Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) Mode and Access Point (AP) Mode. Here are the steps for each mode:
1. WPS Mode:
- Connect the camera's AC power adapter and plug it into a non-switched outlet.
- Hold down the WPS button on the camera until the LED starts flashing blue (about 3 seconds).
- Activate the WPS Mode on your router. The router will start connecting to the wireless network, and the LED on the camera will turn solid green when the connection is complete.
- Add the camera to your Alarm.com account by selecting the account in MobileTech or using a web browser and entering the URL: www.alarm.com/addcamera.
- Select the camera from the video device list or enter its MAC address (located on the back of the camera) to begin adding the camera.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to finish adding the camera.
2. AP Mode:
- Connect the camera's AC power adapter and plug it into a non-switched outlet.
- Hold down the WPS button on the camera until the LED starts flashing white (about 6 seconds).
- On an internet-enabled device, connect to the wireless network named "ALARM (XX:XX:XX)" where XX:XX:XX is the last six digits of the ADC-V722W's MAC address (located on the back of the camera).
- Open a web browser on the same device and enter "http://722winstall" in the URL field. Follow the on-screen instructions to add the ADC-V722W to your wireless network. The LED will turn solid green when the connection is complete.
- Add the camera to your Alarm.com account by selecting the account in MobileTech or using a web browser and entering the URL: www.alarm.com/addcamera.
- Select the camera from the video device list or enter its MAC address to begin adding the camera.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to finish adding the camera.
