Setting up the eco4life SC-BIPC-1001 IP Camera is a straightforward process. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Install Alkaline Batteries: Open the camera back cover and insert 6 AA alkaline batteries into the battery box. Make sure to position the negative pole between the 2 positive poles on both ends of the battery box.
2. Choose a Good Spot: Find a location with a clear field of view and a good WiFi signal from your wireless router. Mount and position the camera accordingly, ensuring it is at least 7 feet above the floor or ground area. Tilt and aim it slightly downwards for optimal motion sensor performance.
3. Register the App: Download and open the eco4life app on your smartphone. Click on "Create a new account" and follow the prompts to set up your account. This will involve selecting your country, entering your email, receiving a verification code, and setting up a login password.
4. Connect the Camera: Open the eco4life app and click on "Add device." Enter your WiFi password and confirm, then wait for the camera to connect. Once the camera is successfully added, you're ready to start using it.
