If you are unable to find the camera's SSID in your smartphone's WiFi settings, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Make sure you have waited for up to 30 seconds after connecting power to the camera. The LED light on the camera should double blink every 2 seconds. If the LED remains solid or rapidly blinks, press the reset button on the camera for about 10 seconds while it is turned on, and wait.
2. Ensure that you have downloaded and installed the "iOTLiving" app from the app store. Allow all necessary permissions for the app, such as access to the album and notifications.
3. Check your smartphone's WiFi settings and make sure WiFi is turned on.
4. If the camera's SSID (SCS-xxx..) does not appear in the WiFi settings, try the following steps:
a. Some Android devices may not let you connect to the camera. Refer to Troubleshoot Guide 8.2 in the user manual for further instructions.
b. If you are using an Android device and cannot find the app in the app store, you can manually download the app file from the provided website and install it. Make sure to allow installation from an "unknown source" in your app settings.
5. Once you have connected to the camera's SSID, open the "iOTLiving" app and wait for the WiFi icon to appear. Then click on the "+" icon to add the camera manually.
6. If the camera is not found during the search, press the refresh button. If you are still unable to find the camera, refer to Troubleshoot Guide 8.2 for further instructions.
7. Give the camera a name and click on the check mark to proceed.
8. To connect the camera to your WiFi network, click on the setup icon in the app. The app may ask you to change the password, but you can ignore it for now. Choose "Network information" and select your network (2.4GHz only, 5GHz is not supported). Enter your WiFi password and click OK.
If you have followed these steps correctly, the camera should be online after about 30 seconds, and the camera's SSID should disappear while the green LED light turns solid. If you encounter any issues, refer to the Troubleshoot Guide in the user manual for further assistance.
