To connect the HP Z3700 wireless mouse to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Insert the battery: Turn the mouse over and locate the battery compartment at the bottom. Open the compartment and insert the provided AA battery, paying attention to the correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment securely.
2. Connect the USB receiver: Find a free USB port on your desktop computer or laptop. Insert the USB receiver into the USB port. Ensure that the receiver is fully inserted for a secure and reliable connection.
3. Turn on the mouse: The power button for the mouse is located at the bottom. Move the switch to the "On" position.
4. Establish the wireless connection: Once you turn on the mouse, it will automatically establish a connection with the USB receiver. Please be patient as the connection is established, which should only take a few seconds.
After following these steps, your HP Z3700 wireless mouse should be connected and ready to use. You can control the pointer on your computer screen by moving the mouse on a level surface. Left-click, right-click, and scroll functions are available as well.
