To set up the Krevi Dual Band WiFi Extender Repeater, please follow these steps:
1. Connect the extender to an electrical socket located close to your router. Wait for approximately 30 seconds until the 5G LED turns solid on.
2. On your device, go to the Wi-Fi settings and select the network named "WiFi-5G-XXXX" (if the 5G option is not available, choose "2.4G" instead).
3. Wait for the scan results to appear, then select your router's network from the list and connect to it.
4. Enter your router's password when prompted to establish the connection.
5. Configure the extender's SSID (network name) and password. You can either set a new SSID and password or leave them unchanged.
6. Verify the password and extend the Wi-Fi network by clicking on the appropriate option.
7. Allow approximately 30 seconds for the setup process to complete. Once finished, click "Done" to return to the Wi-Fi settings.
8. Select your extended Wi-Fi network from the available networks and enter the new password you created during the setup process.
It is important to note that proper placement of the WiFi extender repeater is crucial for optimal performance. Placing it too close or too far away from your router may result in poor signal quality. Refer to the user manual for guidelines on the ideal placement of the extender.
