To pair the devices with the Control Hub, follow these steps:
1. Launch the ALC Connect App on your smartphone or tablet.
2. Tap "Next" on the initial screen, then tap "Next" again to search for the Control Hub.
3. The app will automatically retrieve the Control Hub DID (Device ID).
4. Enter the desired System Name and the security code (default is 123456).
5. Tap the Control Hub or System Name on the app's main Status screen.
6. To change the password, tap the Settings icon and enter the default security code (123456).
7. Tap "Security Setup" to change the Security Code and Admin Password. You can also enable/disable and set up a PIN Lock for the app.
8. To pair the remaining devices, tap "+" on the Status screen.
9. Select the desired device and tap "Pair" to search for and pair the device.
10. Enter the device's name and location, then tap "Save".
If the devices do not pair properly, you can try manual pairing:
- Door/Window Sensor: Remove the battery for 5-10 seconds and reinstall it to activate manual pairing.
- Motion Detector: Remove the battery cover and press the Pair button.
- Remote Control: Press and hold the Armed Stay button on the Remote Control until the blue LED blinks.
- Siren: Press the Pair button located inside the battery compartment.
