The EPSON PowerLite 97H Remote Control is usually pre-paired with the projector, so you should be able to use it right away without any additional pairing steps. However, if for some reason the remote control is not working with the projector, you can try the following steps to pair them:
1. Make sure the projector is turned on and in standby mode.
2. Point the remote control towards the projector's front sensor.
3. Press and hold the "Enter" button and the "Numeric 7" button on the remote control simultaneously for about 5 seconds.
4. The remote control's ID number will be displayed on the screen. If the ID number matches the projector's ID number, the pairing is successful.
5. If the pairing is not successful, repeat steps 2-4, but this time press and hold the "Enter" button and a different numeric button (1-6) simultaneously.
