Setting up the Foscam FI9821P camera for the first time is a straightforward process. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Start by unpacking the camera and locating the QR code on the underside of the camera.
2. Download and install the free Foscam App on your iOS or Android device from the respective app store.
3. Launch the Foscam App and create a new account if you don't already have one. Log in to your account.
4. Tap the "+" icon in the top right corner of the app to add a new camera.
5. Select "Scan QR Code" and use your device's camera to scan the QR code on the underside of the camera.
6. The app will automatically detect the camera and prompt you to connect it to your Wi-Fi network. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.
7. Once the camera is connected to your Wi-Fi network, you can give it a name and customize its settings if desired.
8. The setup process is now complete, and you should be able to view the camera's live feed and access its features through the Foscam App.
