To connect the IVIEW ISD100 Smart Video Doorbell to your smartphone, follow these steps:
1. Download the Smart Life App: Download the Smart Life App from your smartphone's app store. Make sure to connect to a Wi-Fi network during the download to conserve data.
2. Set up your router: Ensure that your router is set up with an 802.11b/g/n 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection with WPA/WPA2 encryption. This is necessary for the initial setup of the doorbell.
3. Register on the Smart Life App: Open the Smart Life App and click on "Register." Enter a valid phone number or email address and click "Next." Input the verification code sent to you and create a password with a combination of numbers and letters. Then, log in to the app.
4. QR Code Configuration: Open the Smart Life App and click on the "+" or "Add Device" button. Select "All" on the "Select Device Type" page. Choose "Security Camera" and power on the IVIEW ISD100 doorbell. Make sure the indicator is flashing quickly or you hear a prompt tone.
5. Connect to Wi-Fi: Input your Wi-Fi password and click "Confirm." Scan the QR code with your device's camera. You can also change the network connection if needed.
6. Complete Configuration: When the device emits a " xxxx xxxx xxxx " sound, click "I heard the beep" on the app. The configuration will be completed in about 30 seconds. You can also change the device nickname in this interface.
Note: After successful configuration, the device will be automatically locked. To unplug the battery, click on the "..." icon, enter the "Setting" page, click on "Basic Feature Settings," and then click on "Unlock the Battery" to unlock it automatically.
