To connect the SimpleHome XWS7-1001 Smart-Controlled Wall Outlet to your Wi-Fi network, please follow these steps:
1. Unbox the smart wall outlet and ensure you have the QR Code Hangtag and User Manual handy.
2. Choose a desired location for the smart outlet, ensuring the area is within range of your Wi-Fi network.
3. Connect the smart outlet to the chosen power source.
4. Download the Simple Home App from your mobile device's app store (App Store for iOS devices or Google Play Store for Android devices).
5. Once installed, open the app and register for an account if it's your first time or log in.
6. Click on the "Add Device" option in the app.
7. Scan the QR Code Hangtag provided with the product or search for the device manually.
8. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the smart outlet to your Wi-Fi network.
If you have misplaced the QR Code Hangtag, you can still manually search for the device within the Simple Home App and follow the on-screen instructions for setup.
If you encounter any issues during the setup process, please consult the User Manual or contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance.
Please note that it's important to ensure your Wi-Fi network is active and within range during the setup process. Restarting your router and trying to connect again can also help resolve any connectivity issues.
