The iView S100 Smart Door Window Sensor consists of two parts with built-in magnets. When a door or window is closed, the two parts are aligned and the magnetic connection is intact. However, when the door or window is opened, the two parts separate, breaking the magnetic connection. This triggers a notification which is then sent to your smartphone via the iView Home app. This way, you can receive real-time alerts and know if a door or window has been opened while you're away.
