To connect the UHF-18 wireless microphone system to your audio system, follow these steps:
1. Determine if you will be using the UHF-18 as a stand-alone unit or as a plug-in module for a compatible VocoPro unit.
2. If using the UHF-18 as a stand-alone unit:
a. Connect a 1/4" patch cable from the UHF-18's "MIC OUT" jack to the 1/4" mic input on your mixer or other audio device.
b. Connect the power adapter cable to the DC power input on the UHF-18 and plug the adapter into a power source.
3. If using the UHF-18 as a plug-in module:
a. Turn off your main unit and unplug it from the power source.
b. Unscrew the expansion port cover on your compatible VocoPro unit.
c. Pull the expansion port cover from the expansion port and disconnect the connection cable.
d. Attach the connection cable to the UHF-18.
e. Carefully slide the UHF-18 into the expansion port and secure it in place using the provided screws.
4. Once the UHF-18 is connected, turn on your main unit and the UHF-18.
5. Switch on the wireless microphone.
6. Adjust the volume using the UHF-18's power/volume dial and the mic input volume control on your main unit.
