To mount the Shure CVO-B/C microphone, follow these steps:
1. Attach the wire hanger: Snap the wire into the groove on the microphone body.
2. Guide the cable through the spiral at the end of the wire, starting from the bottom and working towards the exit.
3. Hang the microphone according to the guidelines for placement.
4. Aim the microphone towards the sound source by holding the wire hanger in place and twisting the microphone body.
5. If necessary, tie a strong transparent thread or fishing line to the loop at the end of the wire hanger and attach it to a ceiling anchor for additional stability.
6. Connect the XLR cable to a mixer or P.A. system.
Note: The microphone comes with an integrated flange for mounting on a surface, and it can also be attached to a standard microphone stand using the included adapter. Adjust the angle of the microphone to capture sound from different angles.
