Installing the Yale YRD256iM1619 Assure Lock Network Module is a relatively straightforward process. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Download the Yale Secure App: Install the free Yale Secure app from the App Store on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch running iOS 10.3 and later.
2. Turn on Bluetooth: Make sure that Bluetooth is turned on in your device settings.
3. Remove the lock's battery cover and batteries.
4. Insert the Yale iM1 Network Module: Insert the Yale iM1 Network Module into the slot above the battery compartment. The module should have visible pins that are located at the bottom right corner when inserted into the lock.
5. Reinstall the batteries and battery cover.
6. Wake the keypad: Touch the keypad with three fingers to wake it up.
7. Enter the master pin code: Enter your master pin code followed by the gear key.
8. Tap 7, followed by the gear key.
9. Tap 1, followed by the gear key.
10. Your module has now been successfully enrolled.
