To pair the Kwikset 99190-004 Apple HomeKit Smart Lock with your Apple device, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your Apple device is within range of the lock and connected to the internet.
2. Download and install the Kwikset Premise iOS app from the App Store.
3. Open the Premise app and create an account or sign in if you already have one.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to add a new lock.
5. On the lock's touchscreen, press the "A" button and then enter the Mastercode (default code is 123456).
6. On the Premise app, tap "Add Lock" and select "Kwikset Premis" from the list of available locks.
7. Follow the in-app instructions to put the lock into pairing mode.
8. On your Apple device, go to the Settings app and tap on your name at the top.
9. Tap on "Home" and then "Add Accessory."
10. Use your Apple device's camera to scan the HomeKit setup code on the lock's instruction manual or on the lock itself.
11. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.
12. Once the lock is successfully paired, you can control and monitor it using the Premise app or through Siri voice commands.
