To install the batteries in the AcuRite 02020CA Lightning Detector, follow these steps:
1. Remove the belt clip from the back of the device.
2. Remove the battery cover by sliding it off.
3. Insert 2 x AAA batteries into the battery compartment, following the polarity (+/-) diagram inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery cover.
5. Reattach the belt clip.
Please note that AcuRite recommends using high-quality alkaline batteries for the best performance. Heavy-duty or rechargeable batteries are not recommended. Make sure to dispose of old or defective batteries in an environmentally safe way, following your local laws and regulations.
