To set up the AcuRite 06043 Home Environment Display, follow these steps:
1. Unpack the display and remove the protective film from the LCD screen.
2. Install batteries in all wireless sensors that you want to synchronize with the display.
3. Install or replace the batteries in the display itself.
4. Press and release the "SET" button on the back of the display to enter SET MODE.
5. Use the or buttons to adjust the currently selected item (flashing) on the display.
6. Press and release the "SET" button again to save your adjustments and move to the next preference.
7. The preference set order is as follows: AUTO DST (Daylight Saving Time ON or OFF), CLOCK HOUR, CLOCK MINUTE, CALENDAR MONTH, CALENDAR DATE, CALENDAR YEAR, TEMPERATURE UNITS (ºF or ºC).
8. After setting the preferences, the display can be expanded by adding compatible Temperature & Humidity Sensors (sold separately).
9. Place the display in a dry area free of dirt and dust, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, vents, and electronic devices.
10. The display will show the current temperature, humidity, day of the week, clock, and other information.
