To set up the AcuRite 06024 Home Environment Display, please follow these steps:

1. Unpack the display and remove the protective film from the LCD screen.
2. Connect the power adapter to the display and plug it into an electrical outlet.
3. If desired, install 3 AAA alkaline batteries in the battery compartment as a backup power source.
4. Press and release the "SET" button on the front of the display to enter SET MODE.
5. Use the "▲" and "▼" buttons to adjust the currently selected preference (such as time zone, clock hour, etc.).
