To install the La Crosse Technology 306-318 Solar Window Thermometer, please follow these steps:
1. Clean the window surface where the thermometer will be mounted. Use a soft, damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris. Ensure the surface is dry before proceeding.
2. Attach the thermometer to the window using the included suction cups. The thermometer has a flat back with two small holes for the suction cups. Insert the suction cups into the holes and press firmly against the window to create a secure attachment.
3. Position the thermometer on a window that receives ample sunlight for optimal solar charging. Choose a window that is not obstructed by trees, buildings, or other objects that may block sunlight.
4. Ensure that the thermometer is securely attached to the window and is not loose or wobbly. The suction cups should hold the thermometer firmly in place.
Once installed, the thermometer will start capturing sunlight and converting it into energy to power the device. The large digital display will show the current outdoor temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius, depending on your preference.
If you need further assistance or encounter any issues during the installation process, please refer to the instruction manual that came with the product or contact La Crosse Technology's customer service for support.
