To set up the AcuRite 00513 Weather Station with Programmable Alarms, follow these steps:
1. Unpack the product and remove the protective film from the LCD screen.
2. Install batteries in the outdoor sensor. Use high-quality alkaline or lithium batteries for best performance.
3. Install batteries in the display unit. Use high-quality alkaline batteries.
4. Plug in the power adapter for the display unit for optimal performance.
5. Set the time, date, and units by pressing the SET button and adjusting the settings using the ▲ and ▼ buttons.
6. Choose the desired backlight setting by pressing the backlight button.
7. Place the display unit in a dry area and position the outdoor sensor outside. Ensure they are within 165 ft (50 m) of each other.
8. Allow a few minutes for the display unit and outdoor sensor to synchronize.
9. The weather station is now ready to use.
