To set up the AcuRite 06058 (5-in-1) High-Definition Display with Lightning Detection Option, follow these steps:
1. Unpack the product and remove the protective film from the LED screen.
2. Make sure you have the AcuRite Iris Weather Sensor (sold separately) as it is required for the display to be operational.
3. Connect the display to power using the provided power adapter.
4. Choose whether you want to use the display with the tabletop stand or mount it on the wall using the provided mounting bracket.
5. Power on the display and it will automatically enter setup mode.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the display. Use the ∧ and ∨ buttons to adjust the currently selected item and press the √ button to save your adjustments and move to the next preference.
7. The preference set order includes time zone, auto DST (Daylight Saving Time), clock hour, clock minute, calendar month, calendar date, calendar year, pressure units, temperature units, wind speed units, rainfall units, distance units, auto dim, auto cycle, and alert volume.
8. After completing the display setup, make sure to place the display and the AcuRite Iris sensor within 330 feet (100 meters) of each other for proper communication.
9. For maximum accuracy, ensure that the display and sensor are placed away from direct sunlight, heat sources, vents, moisture sources, and electronic devices that may interfere with wireless communication.
10. Once the setup is complete, you can navigate through the menu using the buttons on the display to access features such as records, alarms, additional sensor setup, display settings, sensor information, units, calibrate, and factory reset.
