To install or replace the battery in the Westclox Source 90010 Big Ben Alarm Clock, follow these steps:
1. Hold the clock with the dial face down in one hand.
2. Grasp the back of the clock with your other hand and rotate the back case counterclockwise.
3. Pull the back case away from the clock to access the battery compartment.
4. Install one fresh AA battery into the battery compartment, ensuring the correct polarity by following the (+ or -) symbols engraved inside.
5. Replace the back case of the clock, aligning the holes with the knobs and switch. Then rotate the back case clockwise to tighten.
