To set the time on the Westclox Source 70026 Atomic Alarm Clock, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the clock has fresh alkaline "AAA" size batteries installed in the battery compartment.
2. If the atomic signal has not been received after 10 minutes, it is recommended to set the time manually.
3. Press and hold the MODE button located on the back of the clock for 3 seconds to enter the TIME setting mode.
4. The HOUR digits on the display will begin to flash. Use the UP or DOWN button to set the HOUR in one-hour increments. Press the UP or DOWN button until the correct hour is displayed.
5. If you are using the 12-hour time format, make sure to set the correct AM or PM time period.
6. Press the MODE button again to exit the HOUR setting and enter the MINUTE setting mode.
7. The MINUTE digits on the display will begin to flash. Use the UP or DOWN button to set the MINUTES in one-minute increments. Press the UP or DOWN button until the correct minute is displayed.
8. Press the MODE button again to exit the MINUTE setting and enter the SECONDS setting mode.
9. The SECONDS digits on the display will begin to flash. Use the UP or DOWN button to reset the SECONDS to zero.
10. Press the MODE button again to exit the time setting mode. The clock will automatically return to the normal time display mode.
Note: If no settings are made within 30 seconds, the clock will automatically return to the normal time display mode. If this happens, you will need to start the time setting procedure again from step 3.
