To connect your laptop to the ALUKAP Mini Portable Projector, follow these steps:
1. Identify the appropriate cable: Depending on the available ports on your laptop and the projector, you will need either an HDMI or VGA cable. Check the ports on both devices to determine the type of cable required.
2. Connect the cable: Plug one end of the cable into the HDMI or VGA port on your laptop and the other end into the corresponding port on the projector. Ensure a secure connection.
3. Select the input source: Turn on the projector and use the remote control to navigate to the input source selection menu. Choose the HDMI or VGA input option, depending on the cable you used.
4. Adjust laptop display settings: On your laptop, go to the display settings. In Windows, right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings." In macOS, go to System Preferences > Displays. Make sure the laptop's display is set to extend or duplicate onto the projector.
5. Start projection: Once the laptop and projector are connected and the display settings are adjusted, you should see your laptop screen projected onto the projector. You can now start your presentation.
Note: Some laptops may require additional steps, such as pressing a function key combination (e.g., Fn + F4) to enable external display output. Refer to your laptop's user manual for specific instructions on connecting to an external display.
