To connect the Optoma DX605 projector to your computer or laptop, follow these steps:
1. Identify the available ports on your computer or laptop. The Optoma DX605 projector offers multiple connectivity options, including VGA and HDMI inputs.
2. If your computer or laptop has a VGA output, use a VGA cable to connect the VGA output of your computer or laptop to the VGA input of the projector. Make sure to tighten the screws on both ends of the VGA cable for a secure connection.
3. If your computer or laptop has an HDMI output, use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI output of your computer or laptop to the HDMI input of the projector. HDMI cables provide both video and audio signals, eliminating the need for separate audio connections.
4. Once the connections are made, power on the projector and your computer or laptop.
5. On the projector's remote control, press the "Input" or "Source" button to select the appropriate input source (VGA or HDMI) that you connected your computer or laptop to.
6. Your computer or laptop screen should now be displayed on the projector's screen. Adjust the focus and keystone correction as needed for optimal image quality.
Note: If you encounter any issues with the connection or display, refer to the troubleshooting section of the Optoma DX605 projector manual or contact Optoma customer support for further assistance.
