To connect your laptop to the InFocus LP860 projector, you will need a VGA or HDMI cable, depending on the available ports on your laptop. Here are the steps to connect your laptop:
1. Determine the available ports on your laptop: Check if your laptop has a VGA or HDMI port. Most laptops have at least one of these ports.
2. Prepare the necessary cable: If your laptop has a VGA port, you will need a VGA cable. If your laptop has an HDMI port, you will need an HDMI cable. Make sure the cable is long enough to reach from your laptop to the projector.
3. Connect the cable to your laptop: Plug one end of the cable into the VGA or HDMI port on your laptop.
4. Connect the other end of the cable to the projector: Locate the corresponding VGA or HDMI input port on the back of the LP860 projector. Plug the other end of the cable into this port.
5. Power on the projector: Connect the power cord of the LP860 projector to a power outlet and turn on the projector.
6. Select the correct input source: On the projector's remote control, press the "Input" or "Source" button to cycle through the available input sources. Select the VGA or HDMI input, depending on the cable you used.
