To connect the Monoprice SB-100 Soundbar to your TV or home theater equipment, you have multiple options depending on the available inputs on your devices. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Identify the available audio outputs on your TV or audio equipment. The most common options are digital optical, digital coaxial, and 3.5mm analog outputs.
2. Choose the appropriate cable for your desired connection. For digital optical or digital coaxial, you will need an optical or coaxial cable. For 3.5mm analog, you will need a 3.5mm audio cable.
3. Connect one end of the chosen cable to the corresponding audio output on your TV or audio equipment.
4. Connect the other end of the cable to the corresponding input on the rear of the Monoprice SB-100 Soundbar. The soundbar has digital optical, digital coaxial, and 3.5mm analog inputs labeled accordingly.
5. Once the physical connections are made, power on the soundbar and your TV or audio equipment.
6. On your TV or audio equipment, navigate to the audio settings menu. Select the appropriate audio output option and ensure it is set to the connected output.
7. Use the included remote control to turn on the Monoprice SB-100 Soundbar and select the input source corresponding to the connected cable (AUX for 3.5mm analog, OPT for digital optical, COA for digital coaxial).
8. Adjust the volume on the soundbar to your desired level using the volume increase and decrease buttons on the remote control.
9. Test the audio by playing content on your TV or audio equipment. The sound should now be output through the Monoprice SB-100 Soundbar.
Note: If you prefer wireless audio streaming, you can also connect your mobile devices to the soundbar via Bluetooth. Simply enable Bluetooth on your device, search for available devices, and select the "MP34710" option to pair and stream audio wirelessly.
