To connect the JBL ES250P subwoofer to your audio sources, follow these steps:
1. Check if your audio receiver or amplifier has a dedicated subwoofer output. If it does, proceed to step 2. If not, you can use the speaker-level inputs on the subwoofer (refer to the manual for more information).
2. Use a subwoofer cable (RCA cable) to connect the subwoofer's Line-Level/LFE Input on the rear panel to the subwoofer output on your audio receiver or amplifier.
3. Set the line-level/LFE switch on the rear panel of the subwoofer to "LFE" if your audio receiver or amplifier has a dedicated LFE (low-frequency effects) output. If your receiver or amplifier does not have an LFE output, set the switch to "Normal."
4. Make sure the power switch on the rear panel of the subwoofer is in the "Off" position.
5. Connect the subwoofer to a power outlet using the provided AC power cord.
6. Turn on your audio receiver or amplifier and set the volume to a moderate level.
7. Turn on the subwoofer by pressing the power switch on the rear panel.
8. Adjust the subwoofer level control on the rear panel to achieve a balanced blend of bass with your main speakers. Start with the control set to the minimum position and gradually increase it until you achieve the desired bass level.
