To determine if your subwoofer has existing threaded inserts for the SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System, you can examine the bottom of your subwoofer. Look for small holes that are threaded to accept screws. These threaded inserts are typically present on subwoofers that are designed to accept xxxx -in feet. If you see these threaded holes, you can use the provided ¼-20 x 20 mm screws to attach the SoundPath Isolation Feet directly to your subwoofer.
However, if your subwoofer does not have threaded inserts, you can still use the SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System. The package includes non-abrasive adhesive pads and double-sided tape for attachment. Ensure that the bottom surface of your subwoofer is clean and free from dust or debris. Apply the adhesive pad or double-sided tape to the bottom of each SoundPath foot and firmly press each foot onto the subwoofer's bottom surface, ensuring they are evenly spaced and securely positioned.
By following these instructions, you can successfully install the SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System on your subwoofer, regardless of whether it has threaded inserts or not.
