To connect the Yamaha DBR10 speaker to your audio source, follow these steps:
1. Locate the input jacks on the rear of the speaker. There are two combo jacks (CH1 and CH2) that support both XLR and phone plugs, and RCA-pin jacks (CH2 only) for connecting different audio sources.
2. For the combo jacks, connect your mixer or microphone to either CH1 or CH2 using the appropriate cable (XLR or phone plug). For the RCA-pin jacks, connect your audio source (such as an MP3 player or CD player) to the CH2 jack using an RCA cable.
3. Adjust the level of each input jack using the [LEVEL] knobs located next to the input jacks. This allows you to control the volume of each input source.
4. Set the [MIC/LINE] switch for the CH1 jack depending on the level of the input signal. If you are using a microphone or a low-level signal, set the switch to [MIC]. If you are using a mixer or a high-level signal, set the switch to [LINE].
5. Use the output switch to select the output signal sent to the output jack. The options are [CH1 THRU] for the direct output of CH1 only, or [CH1+2 MIX] for the mixed signals of CH1 and CH2.
6. Connect another DBR speaker (if desired) by using a balanced XLR cable to the output jack of the first speaker and the input jack of the second speaker. This allows you to daisy-chain multiple speakers together.
7. Power on the speaker by turning the [] (power) switch to the [I] position. The [POWER] indicator will light up in green to indicate that the speaker is powered on.
8. Adjust the volume levels on your audio source and mixer to achieve the desired sound level.
By following these steps, you should be able to successfully connect your audio source to the Yamaha DBR10 speaker and start enjoying high-quality sound. For more detailed instructions and information, please refer to the owner's manual provided with the speaker.
