Cleaning the lint filter of the Hot Tools Pro Artist Turbo Hair Dryer is important to maintain its performance and prevent overheating. Here's how to clean the lint filter:
1. Unplug the appliance from the power source.
2. Remove the end cap by rotating it counterclockwise until it detaches from the dryer. Note that the end cap may hinge downward or upward instead of rotating and may not be completely removable.
3. Use a brush, your fingers, or a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and lint from the internal lint filter. If your dryer has a lint filter attached to the removable end cap, clean that filter as well, both inside and outside.
4. Once you have removed all the dust and lint, replace the end cap. Align the end cap's tabs with the indentations inside the back grill of the hair dryer and rotate it clockwise until it locks into place.
Remember to clean the lint filter daily to ensure optimal performance and prevent the dryer from overheating and shutting off.
